Pianist: Zsuzsanna Lukacs
Adults: $20.00

On Saturday May 11, Les Echos du Pacifique, Greater Vancouver's francophone choir, will celebrate Spring with a concert at 7:30 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Catholic Church in Coquitlam. Artistic Director Marla Mayson and the choir are excited to present a richly varied selection of pieces, including lovely works in celebration of Spring by Fauré, Dickau, Chilcott, Poulenc, St. Jacques, Berlin, and Kern. Les Echos du Pacifique began when two parish choirs joined together in songs. For the founding members, choral music was a way to celebrate and preserve their French-Canadian heritage and culture. Today, francophones and francophiles from across the Lower Mainland continue to come to Maillardville, to celebrate French language and culture through music. Les Echos, including a charter member from 1973, are proud to showcase their talents at concerts, festival stages, and in the community, and to share their work globally through their YouTube Channel. Tickets are on sale at BrownPaperTickets.com at various prices, including Early Bird pricing (until April 1,) group discounts and free admission for children under 13. Former members of the choir are invited to contact info@lesechosdupacifique.info to receive a special invitation to the concert.
